Moreton Bay Able Anglers offers fishing group sessions and 1 on 1 sessions to people living with a disability and aged care.
Our wheelchair fishing sessions are all about mateship. Steve and the team look at each and every participants abilities and requirements and customises the session to suit the participants. This includes selecting a suitable platform or environment to fish that is stable, safe and where possible sun and wind resistant.
These sessions are for people living with a disability and/or aged care.
Moreton Bay Able Anglers do not provide transport services to or from the sessions, we take into consideration the travel distance our participants need to make to ensure the least amount of travel as possible. Participants who require Support Workers or Carers must be present during the session to ensure the safety of the participants.
